Growing sprouts is the easiest way to get important vitamins, minerals, trace elements, secondary phytochemicals and dietary fibers. Mung bean sprouts have a mild sweet, slightly nutty taste, fresh and crunchy. The well known “bean sprouts” used in Asian food are usually mung bean sprouts. They are ideal for wok dishes, salads and wraps. They give a distinctive texture to many other dishes.

Rapunzel is one of the leading organic food producers in Europe. It all started very small: In 1974, Joseph Wilhelm and Jennifer Vermeulen started a self-sufficiency commune on a farm with a small natural health food store in the city of Augsburg in Bavaria. From these humble beginnings to an international company developed during the last 45 years. The idea behind it all remained the same throughout this time: to manufacture certified organic, natural and untreated, vegetarian foods.
