Korean-style red chili paste, also known as Gochujang. It is a savory, sweet and spicy fermented condiment used in Korean dishes such as bibimbap, tteokbokki, and a variety of soups and stews. This Korean chili paste is made with sundried chillis, produced in the town of Sunchang, to give a rich, fiery flavor. Sunchang is famous for its delicious chili paste. During the second fermentation process of this gochujang, brown rice is added and naturally fermented. This gives it a deep, rich and clean taste of gochujang. This twice-fermented paste adds heat and flavour to any dish.
