Colman’s Mustard has called Norfolk home since 1814. The Norwich site will close by the end of 2019. Manufacturing of other products will move to other sites in the UK, mainly Burton upon Trent, while other work will switch to Germany. Jeremiah James Colman established the production factory in Norwich which is still going strong today. He was nothing if not a perfectionist, and our mustard is just as bold as ever. Unlike most mustard manufacturers, we sieve our seeds up to 9 times to remove any trace of impurities.That’s what gives it that famous full-on flavour. We still source our mustard from many of the same farms we’ve always worked with, and in some cases, the same families. Some of our current farmers are 5th generation Colman’s mustard seed growers
